You have access to specialized services in the diagnosis of sexually and intravenously transmitted diseases. These services, offered by a nurse by appointment only, are available ½ day per week in alternating locations between the CLSC Lac-Etchemin and the CLSC Saint-Prosper.

These services include :

• Meeting the nurse
• Diagnosis by blood testing (Examples: HIV, Hepatitis C, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea and others)
• Follow-up by a nurse and referral to a doctor if necessary
• Information, documentation
• Preventative intervention with individuals diagnosed with a sexually and intravenously transmitted diseases and for their sexual partners
• Evaluation of client’s vaccination record
• Free vaccinations for hepatitis A and hepatitis B
