Pharmaceutical services
The pharmacy department of the Centre de santé et de services sociaux des Etchemins provides pharmaceutical cares for the patients admitted at the Lac Etchemin and the Saint-Prosper facilities. This include long-term care geriatric patients, intermediate and long-term care mental health patients of the Chaudière-Appalaches region and three palliative care beds. Services are also provided to the CLSC and the medical outpatient clinic.
The department is composed of two pharmacists and three pharmacy technical assistants. Through a multidisciplinary approach, the department works in close collaboration with other health care professionals, the patients and their families to provide the best possible care.
