This program is aimed at people 18 years of age and older, living in the Etchemins area and who have been diagnosed with a severe mental disorder such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, mental depression or a personality disorder. It also aims to assist members of the immediate family, friends, and community members who are concerned with the welfare of these individuals.
Services offered : (Adult clientele)
Ateliers du Lac
- Evaluation of client’s needs
- Individual follow-up in the community
- Education on the disorder, and medication
- Individual, couple, and/or family therapy
- Lodging (finding suitable housing, directing individuals to housing services such as transitional housing, boarding houses, etc)
- Flare-ups or crises (on the telephone, at home, in housing accommodations)
- Specialized intervention : program for young psychotics, program for personality disorders
- Services offered to the community : sensitizing, providing information on mental disorders, support in relating to these individuals
- Activities to assist client’s integration into the workforce

This program is aimed at people who are dealing with particular mental health problems and need customized problem solving. This program has a regional focus and is available in Chaudière-Appalaches.
